have to big spadge up to ... went to get a very cheap diff up from him yesterday and he gave me a free gear knob as mine was broken . Very nice guy and didnt call me a south african so scores highly in my books :cool: that engine less tourer looked great on the wheels dont suppose u got a spare 3.5 ...

cool thanks mate .. i had some carb cleaner and on there all day sunday cleaning it but thought it was only goin the outside and a lil of the inside... ICV is off tonight to get a clean

is it a good idea to clean the TPS ??? i found that there was a shed load of crap on the throttle body so might just take it all apart and clean it

i sold for 6 months in new zealand and been drifting for 10 months so have gone threw my fair share of different makes
if u want a good all round tyre then the conti's if u no drifting ot track use or michellin pilot's

do u know if auto diffs fit in as im tempted to get a 318 auto diff in my 320 .. that should give it great acceleration and drift really well when welded

P6000's aka widow makers , they great for drifting as they offer no grip at all wet or dry.. michellin pilot premicys are awesome , they last FOREVER and can cope with huge heat avon zv3's :worthy: :worthy: they are very grippy in the dry and again last for ever i found wanli's and nankangs last for...

i didn realise u could just change the bushes but surely thats goin to be a fairly time consuming job ???? only other times i have used short shifters is when the car has a good box and then one has been put in , constantly seemed to be mis-shfting as they were all far to close , so changing from 3r...

for 25 ??? only ones i ahve see are the ones on ebay and they tend to only reduce sometime liek 20-30% and didnt think that would be enough

i had 60mm all round on my 318i mtec cabby ( neon blue one ) an with 8x17 alpina's on and i had no problems at all... it does depend on wat quality suspension u are goin for ... i did two lots and the first lot ( cheapy shite ) did rub with 4 adults and with hard driving but i sent them back and got...

thanks again ... i had a quick look at the hoses and didnt see any cracks, it was dark tho, but im getting an induction kit very very soon so will pull it all off and have a proper inspection .. if they run fairly lean i might look in to some bigger injectors to over come that ... maybe from a 325 o...

yeah thats peter barbers car ... has belonged to about 4 Drift works members haha changed color about 4 times to .

Hi,pleased that you have seen the :idea: hahaha wouldnt say i seen the light , have had a few e30's before but drifitng is still number one on my list , i got the 320i coz i needed a good rwd smooth daily driver , goin slammed on the ground , 14" banded stealies and thats it ... nothing else to it ...

i'll try the nissan one in there and if not then i might have a 325i one lined up .. if the stuttering isnt cleared then i'll check wat u said then start eliminating things like leads, plugs, dizzy etc etc and go form there

well im not sure if it is th fuel pump as thye usually work or not frm my previous experienceabelai wrote:I think you might need to deal with the fuel pump issue first then tackle any other problems you might still have.

does it do what mine does? (read my thread; running like a bag of sh1t. just above this.) na mines nto doin wat yours is doin mine idles fine and doesnt hunt but low down and light acceleration it stutters but not badly , no misfire just stutters a lil now and again it wont start so i have to bash ...
