i see it dripping away ,ive tried a few times to seal it ,itll seal up for a wee while then start dripping again .Coming from the base of the regulator ,thought at first maybe the hose ,but no its defitnitely the regulator .

Leaking Fuel Pressure Regulator
Hi ,this has appeared whilst im trying to solve the hard start from cold problem ,ive changed all the usual suspects ,still no joy ,ive changed this regulator too but still seems to leak ,would this maybe suggest blocked / clogged injectors ???

Got mine direct from bmw , think it was around £15 a litre , canny remember what it was but the motor factors that i tried to get it from could tell me what i needed ,but never stocked it,including halfrauds .

Ok folks , need some help here in finding out why this is hard to start from cold ,changed ,plugs ,brown and blue sensors ( new ),fuel pump and filter as sometimes the pump makes a noise when im trying to start it ,whats the most common faults to cause this ? ,once it does eventually fire up its not...

ok guys ill try it with a made up pump with a long hose dipped into the tank , but not the submersible type ,i dont want blown off the map ,cheers .

Hi all , having a wee bit bother here trying to drain / flush my tank ,ive took out the drain plug and its emptied the drivers side of the tank , but i can tell by chapping at the other side of it theres still more petrol lying in there , ive got the car jacked up and the side with the petrol is way...

but the pump doesnt get everything ,i need to do a complete drain and flush ,that dribble you mention could still cause problems ,itll be ideal if mine has the drain plug .

Mine done this too for a while , it would whine like mad, i took the the pump out cleaned the crap from the gauze filter ,replaced it , and its now quiet as a mouse ,job done
