Currently being used as my everyday tyres and they are fine, no extra road noise, plenty of grip in the wet. But with the colder weather coming, they would be no good!

Re: Trackday/ring tyres
My local tyre place got them in. Couldn't get r888, none in stock and there wasn't a forecast date of delivery either. Not used r888, I had Toyo t1r's before on the car, the yoko's are my first set of track tyres and I wish I had bought some years ago. They are 195/50/15 and were 360 pound fitted. O...

Re: Trackday/ring tyres
Well the Yokohama tyres have transformed the car, only did 4 laps in the dry but lapping much more smoothly, so much more confidence in the car and can pile in the power so much sooner than s drives or toyo t1r's. Had a drama with tyre pressures tho, pushing on of the corners front steering went lig...

Re: Motorsport events hullavington
Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of my e30 and should just go slower into the corners. But on the handling circuit, when going faster and faster on the roundabout it just understeers loads, then goes really wide, so a big stab of throttle gets the back round. Maybe I just need a pot more practi...

Went to another airfield day run by motorsport events, was only 120 all day open pit and the have a separate handling circuit. Had a play with front arb to try and sort out understeer, but still no joy, and the toyo t1r's took a pasting and are all puckered up! Didn't get to try out the Yokohama tra...

Re-conditioned engine is just that, anyone can do it, it's just someone saying it's ok, it's not a rebuilt engine.

£437.75 for a set of r888 in 195/50/15 fitted. Bloody expensive! I paid less than half that for my t1r's. Decisions decisions.

Trackday/ring tyres REPORT YOKO'S ARE AMAZING!
Right currently on t1r 195/45/15 which are not to my liking, understeering. Should I go for 205 width, or go for a different make, maybe r888? Or ado4?
