Re: Classic insurance and NCB

Since I took a company car I transferred my NCB (13yrs) to the classic policy to keep it live - Is this just a Direct Line thing or wider?

Re: How Comfortable are you E30's

Mine was a standard Cab - drove 3000miles over 2 weeks around Europe - not a twinge from the back and not overly draining after many hours at the wheel. So for a standard car i would say the refinement was spot on for it's age

Re: Help with Service Indicator Light

I would share the concerns, but have done less than 3000miles since an inspII May last year.

Not going to get the tool before the chap turns up anyway so guess we'll have to discuss the cost of a service.

Help with Service Indicator Light

Can anybody tell me how to reset the service light please (not the green/amber/red blocks - I still have 3 green lights) It is the amber clock and inspection which has illuminated ie the time based one. Can I do this myself easily (disconnect battery?) or does it need a specific tool. And if so wher...

Re: e30 posters/brochures do they have a value?

Jules, I have paid good money for a brochure for an E30 so there are mugs out there!! They go on Ebay for between £4-15 depending on what they are

If you have an accessories/options/colour brochure for 1991 inc Cab then I could be interested

Baur

A chap on another forum I frequent has pulled together a potted history of Baur. Some nice E30's on there and a weird Coupe E30 I'd never seen before.

Cars Over 10 years Old

Someone has set up a petition on the Downing Street website protesting against EU proposals to curb or ban the use of cars over 10 years old and similarly a plan by Edinburgh City Council to prohibit cars more than 15 years old from driving in the city centre. I believe this would cover all E30s if ...

Another seat question - can they swap?

I've taken the passenger seat out of my cab to clean and feed the leather - and want to do the same to the drivers - bit difficult putting hte car in the garage with no seat.......

Does anyone know if the passenger seat will fit (temporarily) onto the runners on the drivers side?
