My flatmate has an E30 and he is worryingly obsesed with it. In my opinion (and it is just my opinion) the E30 is a piece of shit. It drives like a tank and sounds like two skeletons having sex on a tin roof. I think he should trade it in and get something more practical. Does anyone have any ideas...

don't wanna put you off! but if you seriously want to do a 3.5 conversion then buy a cheap e34 535i manual, one went recently on ebay for Ãƒ”šÃ‚£150-ish. much better for a lot of small reasons. not the least of whch is that the m535i is a damn cool car and the e34 whilst nice is not that cool. So i thought 335i hmmmmmmmmmm

But what i want to know is would the Dogled box fit the same as a standerd box?, do they have the same linkage etc..

I've found loads of e30 for sale must most of them are poo

and i cant find any Sports or M3's

And i work for Al-Futtain that own Totota, honda, dodge and a load more so getting garages to check them out isent a problem

It costs 1500 quid to get one shiped over from the Uk i looked into it before i moved because i was going to bring a E30 M3 or Mk2 Golf G60 over.

But buy law they have to be LHD (not a problem with the M3 or G60) but they reallt HAVE to have air-con because its just to hot

Not been on here for a while but i've sold my touring

But i had to becuase i've just moved out to Dubai 3 weeks ago

they are alot of e30 about here but not that many nice ones arabs out here have so much money they will only have it if it new

The tyers are 215 im not sure about the offset i'll check 2morrow if its stamped on the wheels.
