hi! was wondering if the e30 325i front crossmember/subframe was a common part, even with cars having the less powerful,l 4 cylinder configurations,regards tommy.also,any easy way to fit the later diagonal outlet radiator to a 1987 prefacelift model tech 1?

had same problem on my 87 pre face lift chromie 325i, this forum stopped me tearing what little hair i have out !

check 50 amp fuse hidden in sheating of small +battery cable feeds fuel pump/dme relay for ecu/spark for coil/injectors dead fuse/no spark,famous fault cheap fix slit the sheating 18 inches in from battery good luck!.

any engine needs the triangle of combustion ie air fuel and spark,my guess is the fuel pump or its operating relays or fusescheck for fuel delivery,also check small positive wire which runs alongside the large cable this 6 guage wire contains a 50 amp fuse, and feeds the dme relay for ecu controllin...

mixture would be lean and it would run like s--t,ideal mixture for combustion is: 14 parts air to 1 part fuel,,fireman tom, tommyspanner.

surely dme 081 would fit, i think it was a 35 pin ecu ------ plug. with a 24 pin chip?

small battery positive wire has 50 amp fuse hidden in loom it gives lots of trouble feeds ecu, coil fuel pump easy fix slit it open with a stanley knife and jumper the wire,bet it starts!

check 50 amp fuse hidden on thinner positive battery wire feeds dme relay for fuel pump spark and injectors famous for failurein e30 due to boot dampness.
