Re: How many BMW CC members on t'zone?
If your running around pretending to be a BMW owner it's probably because subconsciously you miss your BMW, an your using all those nice chaps as an excuse. Eventually you'll wise up and buy another BMW. lol! possibly, I do aim to be back in a 325 next year and i do love BM's hence hanging around t...

However after going to Gaydon again this year(when i wasnt a member but got my tickets just before my memebership expired) I got bored of the whole thing and sold the BM However i do still go along to...

Re:
Good question, I made the move from an E30 to an E34 and IMHO the e34 is a superior car in everyway. My E34 535 sport would muller my E30 325 SE in every respect and to be honest, I dont think the e30 is any more chuckable, the E34 certainly offered a better, well damped ride, had much more traction...

Re:
The M30 in the E34 kicked out 211BHP, it was "detuned" to allow for unleaded fuel according to the roadtests ive got from the time..
My re mapped E34 M30 in my sport kicked out 223BHP.
Fantastic engine but torque wise you'll be ragging it to stay with a modern 2.0 turbo diesel.

Mmmm…you cant knock Honda engines really, the v tec system isn't a worry like the minefield of buying a car with the dreaded word “Vanosâ€a. Their Nicasil bores don't fall apart like BMWs did in the 90's. regardless of fuel,(which was a cop out IMHO, they just didn't make a durable eno...

I put my car on straight after bss325(sorry mate forgot your name) and it made 224BHP, which is fair enough for a remapped E34 535, 2 cars later a stock E34 535 made 209BHP so you would have to say the readings are not being "massaged" by the dyno..as all the other cars results indicated on the day....

On the flipside when most of these cars were produced mineral based were the only real available oils to the end user. Cheers Guy. That 540 looks very nice, didnt these suffer from the old nicasil issue? i guess if its still running well now at that mileage, its all OK

Take the battery off and invest in a trickle charger or be prepared to buy a new one after 3 months or so Engine wise you are best NOT running the car. Why? Most engine wear occurs on start up, so why start it when you don't really need ? If you have run the car for a while and its good n hot when t...
