Can anybody tell me the wiring on the 80/88c temp switch .
Obviously the brown is earth but which of the other wires operates which part of the switch ?

Just finishing off the m52 swop into my e 30 .ive just fitted the m50 manifold and there's no hole in the manifold for the oil breather/separator .whats the best way to pipe it up ? The cars in mid wales . The fuel pump should run for a couple of seconds when the ignition is turned on to prime the system then switch off .as you say when cranking the pump should start to run . Ok so I need to strip the tape off the loom and see which green wire goes to the ecu and the other should go to the coil packs ?
So pin 10 on the ecu is the ews signal wire ,I will follow that from the plug and check the colour .

Another wiring loom question
Started to wire up the e36 engine loom to the e30 c101 plug .
Terminal 7 is a thick green wire from the e30 plug that goes to the green wire in the e 36 loom.i have two thin green wires in the e36 engine loom.do I connect both to the single wire from the plug or is there a specific one ? Thanks

I'm looking for a conversion to vented rear brakes on my rally car.any known conversions available?
I have to keep the handbrake inside the discs for mot purposes,so probably looking at something off another bm.
Have seen somewhere the 328 rears re drilled .any body done this ? Thanks

Shift light wiring
Hi .im in process of the m52b28 install.
In the car is a omex shift light that picks up engine speed from the coil.
As the m52 has coil packs ,does any one now how it's wired up.
I have a feeling ,I can wire it in to the wire for the cars rev counter? Anybody no? Thanks

Search back a couple of pages.plenty of info on it.
It's not cheap ,and danthe wasn't impressed with the results.
Different size spline on gearbox input shaft,etc .
I looked at it and gave up the idea.
M3 6 speed is the cheapest way .

Does car have rear discs?
I had similar problem and it was one of the handbrake shoe linings come loose .as you slowed down it was jamming under other shoe .

Why do you say the 6 speed is easy to lunch when it handles far more torque in the diesels than any m50 or 52 produces.?

I'm using the e36 328 gearbox with my conversion ,but won't to junk the dual mass flywheel.is it ok to use the m20 lightened flywheel and clutch between the m52b28 and the 328 box?
