Thanks for the reply's , good as i can get a set of lemforder ball joints for the e30 and push them in my spare wishbones. The E36 ones are crap. Talking to a friend of mine last week and he came across a cylinder head in his garage.

Casting numbers are 1 264 200 , anyone know what engine this is off??

Its something 6 cyl , just not sure what?

Just spoke to my brother about your dilemma, He is a diesel fitter at MAN/ERF trucks. He reckons you will be ok , but follow these steps first. Drain as much diesel out of the tanks as poss. When you say the bottom hose is "cool" . What do you mean by cool in relation to the hot top hose ? if you get my drift? If bottom hose is cold / cool when up to temp i would say you aint pumping any water through the rad fast enough. There SHOULD NOT be a massive difference in temp between the top ...

Ok..... Is an easy job. The rad can stay on. If you have the cowling on the rad, this wil have to come off. Just unscrew the big nut off the water pump, there is enough room between the rad and fan to pull it out. just remmember its a left hand thread. As Kam said above its quite easy . 32mm spanne...

Hi ,

I have same problem with mine with rust in the same place. Doesnt look as bad as yours though.

Have a few pics of my rear inner arches will post them in a moment. Could be a good thread to start with common areas to look at for rust!!

Another thing to check is that the exhaust gaskets aren't leaking or manifold studs have broken / snapped.

From what i remember there is a post on this somewhere.

Im sure it makes a sound like you have cam problems.

I could be wrong , but its worth a look.

nightroamer , Check your camshaft for scoring marks on the lobes. My spraybar got plugged with gasket material and has trashed 3 of the lobes on the cam. Lift the rocker lid and turn the engine over with a ratchet on the bottom drive pully. That way you can check each lobe in turn. If it is the cam ...

the original colour for Standard BBS alloys silver wheels is polaris silver.Paint Code 060

The motorsport alloys are nogaro silver. Paint Code 243.

Its already had blue and brown temps changed 3 months ago. Although you have changed these two items , you may need to check that the wiring from the temp sender to ECU is good. Cant remember what the wire nop's are but im sure Brian Moore will be along shortly to tell you which wires to check. HTH...

I used this guy for injector service parts when i cleaned mine , prices were very cheap even with the shipping from the USA. :D :D . Think all seals , filters and caps for my injectors came to about £17 with shipping.
