Re: anyone know about e24's original 6 series?

I had one, for about one month, took it to pieces, I think think if I had hit it on it's roof with a plank of wood, it would have broken completely in half due to rot... They rust, BIG time, but that's already mentioned!

Re: Story of my M-tech 2

Looks amazing, I bet the real cost was in buying a time machine in order to bring back that brand new m20!

Re: HELP NEEDED changing engine mounts...

Hey mate, Easy job, undo the top nuts and bottom nuts, you may need a deep socket for this, raise the engine on the side that you are replacing the mount, be sure to place something like a block of wood between the surface of the jack and the engine, as it could cause damage other wise. It should li...

Re: Tech1 sport to be resurrected

You get salt on the roads over there!? That sucks!

Sounds like the value of a Tech1 is a bit higher over there, Tech2's fetch the premium here, other than m3's and all the other rarities that float around of course.

Looking forward to seeing more pics, I've definitely got a weak spot for Tech1's!

Re: Tech1 sport to be resurrected

The whole resto looks great! I love how great the paint came out! If you don't mind me asking, how much does a Sport 325 in that shape set people back on your side of the world? Over here, even a run down M325i can still be quite costly! Also, how come so many cars suffer from rust so badly over the...

Re: E30 M3 - new alloys - wheel rubbidge :-( help please!

I can't comment on m3's as I don't have a spare $50,000NZD sitting around, but my regular old, run of the mill e30 won't take ANYTHING other 40 profile on my 17's, 45 is a huge increase for me, tried it once. I always struggle finding 40 profile tires over here, the 45's or 50's are a dead sight che...

Idle questions.

Hey everyone, I have a few questions about my IDLE which is after all this time is not perfect, my current idle control valve (the H wax filled one) is stuffed, I have a spare which seems in better condition, but I cant remember if the valve is supposed to fully open, or fully close when hot/cold, I...
