Thank you - and any recommendation for a reasonable priced but reliable supplier? I'd rather pay the extra for the quality.jmc330i wrote:Bilstein shocks and either H&R or Eibach springs. Ideally around a 35mm drop, to keep it sensible for our roads.

Suspension Kit
Afternoon all - just wondering if anyone had any positive/negative views on ride height for their BMW? Car is too low at present and I want to raise it but I don't know what the ideal suspension kit would be to buy to allow the car to be a daily driver and good over humps etc... but still giving it ...

Fingers crossed for a broker spring - if that is the case I would replace both springs at the back (although they are not that old!), any suggestions on best place to get them from...?

E30 325i Convertible Suspension
Afternoon all! My right rear suspension has collapsed - any thoughts as to what this might be!? Car has been in garage for nearly 2 years now and only got it out a month ago and noticed it! As its raining, I haven't been underneath it yet as would have to get it out the garage to look, not enough ro...

Re: Fluctuating Temperature Guage...!
Hi Grrrmachine - thanks! Re point 1) I may need the mod team to do this for me as I have not been on here in so long and I cannot remember how to do this! Its certainly not a deliberate action! 2) Had a read, so this explains the temperature gauge going up with the engine temperature but then fluctu...

Fluctuating Temperature Guage...!
Hoping someone can offer their expertise, I had a trawl through the forum to see if there was a response to this sort of issue already so apologies in advance if I am boring any of you. Car starts and runs fine but the temperature gauge seems to have a mind of its own going up and down slowly when i...

High Temp, Low Temp, High Temp, Low Temp!
Hoping someone can shed some light!!! My beloved E30 325i Convertible seems to have some sort of overheating/temperature issue. Never goes into the red (possibly as I have a kenlow fan fitted) but the temperature guage will randomly go up and down when I am in traffic and moving. Had a similar probl...

Thanks for the input so far, I have a Kenlow fan fitted as I mentioned on the car so it cant be the viscous fan as there isnt one! Thanks for the advice Brianmoooore - I am an optimist to I will be counting my chickens and hope that it is not the head gasket and will go down the route of the water p...

Over Heating/Under Heating/Hot Air from Blower then Cold Air
Have a mysterious problem! When I drive my car it is heating up fairly quickly - usually I have to sit shivering for 5-10 minutes till heat starts coming out and then its nice and toasty! Temp Gauge never goes above the half way point and I have a Kenlow fan (fitted 4 years ago). Last week I was dri...

Re: bbs value ? and refurb exhange idea
Got to be honest, as a newby to this site (but quite an intelligent chap I would like to think) I was a bit put out when you commented this on one of my first ever posts as well! Not exactly useful, and putting other people off dealing with me when I was only raising a general enquiry... I am yet to...

Re:
Best response yet, thank you! It has no major marks and after your post I had a closer look at it and there is indeed some blue stitching around the parts not too used.
Going back to the dials, I'll get some pics up of that and the wooden gearstick and hope someone can shed some light!

Re: I have an Alpina steering wheel to sell, ideas on cost?
Thanks everyone for the info re e-bay etc, all valid points! Main question is still kind of still out there though, anyone know what the Alpina steering wheel might be worth...? And also as I said the Alpina dial cluster and wooden gearstick..? Obviously want to put them up as 3 seperate items so if...

Re: I have an Alpina steering wheel to sell, ideas on cost?
Thanks for the feedback, its mainly so I put a respectable reserve on the ebay! I picked up a 320i convertible to strip for parts for my 325i convertible and this was on it along with the wooden Alpina gearstick, Alpina dash dials and a few other bits and bobs! Agree - not trying to sell here based ...

1 x 16"ORIGINAL Alpina Wheel - Help!
Am currently running around on 3 x 16" Original Alpina wheels as one is ruined beyond repair + a BBS.
Anyone know where I can pick up just 1 original as I can find loads of sets but not just the one!
Have stalked EBay for a couple of weeks now with no luck, only sets!
Cheers all!

Re: E30 325i Convertible front wings needed... any help!?
Cheers for the responses, as sods law would have it one side has got a hole the size of a fist below the line and some *@&% hit the other side when the car was parked and then buggered off! As its technically a cost saving exercise, going down that route would probably not save me any money over buy...

Heater/Blower is Broken/Rattling
