The Becker Traffic Pros still look awesome, sound awesome, have sat nav and ipod connector. Almost the perfect retro looking head unit, plus they have the reverse illumination so they look great in the E30. I don't have a pic of mine in the E30, but this is the unit...... http://www.mbclub.co.uk/for...

The new 9880 alpine in amber looks good. Just seen one today.
All the press pics are green, but the amber is dark like the BMW lighting.

That steering wheel looks so much better!! I had a Sebring back box on it that was awesome, but it was a 2 piece system and I could not find a new centre box for it without it costing £300+ so went with that system to get a 3 piece system on the car, with the thought that another back box could go o...

And putting that people can negotiate is a bad move because of lot of people don't want to or simply don't know how to. You are best to stick a car at the lowest you are prepared to sell it and get some interest, they may fall in love with it and pay that price, even if it was a little higher than t...

Re: Buying or Selling an E30
Totally agree, the market is dead! You have to have something really special to sell at the moment. There are some nice Sports out there with 100k on them going for £3500 when you ask what they actually sold for. I would say ebay is the best judge of what things are really worth, you can see what th...

It's staying mate.
All bushes being replaced over the next couple of weeks. And as funds allow I will put an M-Tec kit on it, a limited slip diff, tech II sterring wheel and a Z3 steering rack.
Have new discs and brakes sat here along with a master brake cylinder from a 750i.

There was a report out showing that for an average family, 2 people earning £40k a year, doing 12k miles, with a 3 bed house, with 2 kids we are now paying around 40% more tax than in the year before labour got in. Those that earn the big money are better off, and those that are on the lowest inco...

Problem is it is too late for that, with over 80% of our goods coming from overseas all it would do in the short term is make everyone worse off, meaning the economy slows down, house prices tumble, small retailers go bust, people loose their jobs and the country goes into a massive recession. :( We...

I found a list of my incomings and outgoings the other day, it was done for the bank when we moved 4 years ago, I was amazed just how much cheaper everything was, fuel was only £180-200 a month and there was a receipt for BP at 69p litre for diesel, I paid 1.26 the other day and it cost me £76, ...

Re: How many K plate 325 tourings do we have on the Zone?
Last E30 325i was made 4/93, so I guess an L plate could be possible??
If it was made in April and arrived in May/June the buyer may have waited until the L plate in August, people did used to hang on for 2 months to get the new plate when they came out only once a year.

Re: Compare 325 Touring with 324TD Touring
If it is a turbo then I am sure an increase from 115ps to 140ps is very do able. I would guess that a chip only would see this increase. My 325i sees around 24mpg on a run, a 2000 mile trip would have me filling up about 9 times. In comparison my E91 320d will do 48mpg at 85mph and is a hell of a lo...

Don't be so lazy!!
Undo the clips and drop the glovebox down.
You will see the accessory box.
Follow the wires from the radio to the block in the box and replace with the new one.
Total time around 4 minutes.
Total cost under £10.
Total satisfaction? Priceless.

You will probably find that you have the correct end still in the accessory socket, so buy a loom from Halfords which is bare ends and use the connecter in your car. Solder and tape it and then wrap it to keep it neat. If you can't solder than buy a pack of crimps, just remeber to cut the wires at s...

I can honestly say that Bluespot is the worse company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.
