got hold of a set of KW rear springs for e30 sedan , which is supposedly 60mm lowering...
if this doesnt do it i dont knwo what will.

just a quick check , im sure the front springs are for the 51mm struthousing, would the rear springs be universal for both 41mm & 51mm struthousing kits? as they are just resting on the spring pads ..am i right ? would it be ok to put on a pair of KW springs which i have for e30 but its for 60mm low...

What on earth makes you think that the dash may need to be removed for an engine conversion? Just a straight swap - no problems whatsoever. TBH, the more of the 325 you can transplant, the better. has anyone done this conversion b4?

just wondering if all e30s comes with central locking ,
mine is an 84' coupe

never had the central locking working for as long as i had the car.

problem of starting the car seems to have went away for now ..
hopefully stay away for asome time to come .

yea as Brian puts it , definitely a relay problem. a mate of mine had a look @ my car which had the same problem b4. had problem stopping the wipers from wiping ..even after there's no rain . imagine the embarrasment . :cool: have a look at the relay , make sure there's no dust or muck on it . mine ...

another problem has raised its ugly head on my e30 . apart from the low idle at bout 650-700rpm with the AC on. its getting more difficult to start the engine when cold . now sometimes the car starts only after 3-5mins of leaving it on key position 2. sometimes i'd have to give the gas pedal a few b...

it idles at 700rpm , and it kinda rumbles n shakes the car a bit when its at idle. (sounds like blurb blurb blurb blurb blurb)

is there anyway i can bump up the idle silghty ..so its less nausea-ing to sit in the car during traffic stops.

thanks Breadbin , alas, ..the rear tail light bulb on the right was a bit out of the socket (maybe bumps on the road caused it) a quick refitting of the bulb sorted it out :) e30's always seem to amaze me with the amount of innovation it has, even until this day . guess its a way for the car to tell...

its actually on the meter cluster that's blinking quicker. the right signal one. do i still check the bulb in there?

just noticed when driving the car today ,

all the sudden , all my right signaling are blinking double time quicker than the left signaling (lef which is normal )
