Re: E30 with a bike rack....
This is what I use. It'll fit on a normal tow ball or one of those removable types. You can get these in 1, 2, 3 or even 4 bike racks and they'll carry any type of bike. I got this one off ebay a couple of years ago and've been really pleased with it, its easy to fit and remove from the car and the ...

I'd be interested to find out as while selling my car I had a guy get in touch from the States. He was put off due to it being an 1989 car, but otherwise he was keen to buy . . .

Re: Petchy's Touring
Lowering the car looks great, and it'll handle a bit better too but when you lower the car it pushes out the camber for the rear wheels. There's no camber correction facility on the standard setup so if left as it is it can wear the inside edges of the rear tyres prematurely, the harder you drive it...

It rotted out unfortunately and was beyond repair, I considered putting the kit on the new one but decided to keep the standard look so sold it on about 2 years ago . . .

I've been in an M30 3.5 touring that Andy on here used to own. That was doing 260bhp with the torque to go. An M30 engined e30 is a serious weapon, even one with a good stock engine shifts. Can an e46 rack be used on an M30 conversion ? If not are there any other possibilities ? The biggest problem people seem to have with any engine, standard or not, is manifold clearance, but I think if the E30 rack will fit under an M30 then the E46 rack should? -- Thats the big issue here, manifol...

you can have a hartge brace for under £160. Not sure that billet ie. virtually no lateral damping is right for the chassis, but saying that I've never used one. Sparco is well worth it at £60 and £5 for a can of halfords black 8) they eiminate tower shake on the limit of turn in and do make a diffe...

E30's have a character about them, the way they can keep you guessing, underestimate the car you driving and it will bite you, the lack of electronic babysitting makes you a better driver. That is what I feel keeps them exciting, and not boring. Yes they are now old, slow and well old, at the end o...

I drove like an arse, so did the MR2 driver. I was taking blind bends at 90 in a 4 wheel drift - utterly stupid. Anyway, th...
