Hi All i was wondering if any of you out there have come across a modified M50 to 3 ltrs with over 250 bhp (Ebay Item number: 120873351847)
Could this be a worth while alternative to M3 conversion?

Hi all i have come across a set of seat brackets to retrofit e36 seats to an e30. Just wondering if anybody has used these as i am thinking of purchasing them.

Thanks everyone my shopping list so far is:-

1. Engine,box,ecu.
2. Engine mouting arms
3. Radiator/rad mounts
4. Steering rack.
5. bracket for pas reservoir.
6. Propshaft.

Not sure about 5 stud conversion yet bot no harm getting bits just in case

A friend of mine has just shunted his 92 (e36) 325i coupe he has someone interested in engine but is scrapping the rest

.Just wondering which bits are worth salvaging for my conversion funds permitting!! As i am getting them for nothing & have plenty of storage space at mo.

i would like to exchange for new any ideas on any good companys tried a old Bmw mag and found A-trim which i don't think are trading anymore

Try to take connector apart spray with wd40 & look for worn wires in door pillar

try Autovogue i used their kit on mine but everyone to there own

M50 is easier than you think. The way to go is a Ãƒ”šÃ‚£250 ebay 525i with a decent dry engine, M20 flywheel and clutch and bog standard M40 318i gearbox. Not to worried about acceleration at moment cos the m50 will still give me a better response if set up right would be a big waste of time to end up with something that drives more or less the same if you get me drift

Hi all i am looking to do a m50 conversion including 5 speed box,i've looked at a few sites and a few have suggested using e30 m3 diff 3.25. I use the motorway everyday for work so would a 2.93 or 2.79 be better and where would i sorce them in the uk

scoured some articles on tuning m50/52 and found a feature called e36 tuning lesson (june 05 pbmw).Company called Branded untouchable have increased performance fom 192 to 230bhp

using 2.5 engine

i,ve been in from 1st issue the main reason being its nice to see whats going on up & down the country with all types of bm's as a bmw mag it does this well. E30's and E30 zone also gets the odd plug so a bonus for us

will rule out the 320d gearbox then
