Hi All i was wondering if any of you out there have come across a modified M50 to 3 ltrs with over 250 bhp (Ebay Item number: 120873351847)
Could this be a worth while alternative to M3 conversion?

E36 seats into e30
Hi all i have come across a set of seat brackets to retrofit e36 seats to an e30. Just wondering if anybody has used these as i am thinking of purchasing them.

Thanks everyone my shopping list so far is:-
1. Engine,box,ecu.
2. Engine mouting arms
3. Radiator/rad mounts
4. Steering rack.
5. bracket for pas reservoir.
6. Propshaft.
Not sure about 5 stud conversion yet bot no harm getting bits just in case

Hi
A friend of mine has just shunted his 92 (e36) 325i coupe he has someone interested in engine but is scrapping the rest
.Just wondering which bits are worth salvaging for my conversion funds permitting!! As i am getting them for nothing & have plenty of storage space at mo.

:cool: i've been reading up on m50/m52 conversion for my e30 and have noticed that the e34 sump is being used to avoid cross member, then i got to thinking would a later model engine fit ie would e39 fit e34 and if so would e39 fit e30 8O i'm assuming that it there identical if not why not use them ...

M50 is easier than you think. The way to go is a Ԛ£250 ebay 525i with a decent dry engine, M20 flywheel and clutch and bog standard M40 318i gearbox. This bolts straight onto an M50, costs about Ԛ£30 to buy and because it's an 0.81 overdrive means you don't need a different diff. You can ...
