I like that - don't normally like those wheels on the e30, but seems to work on this one. Change the exhaust though! As stated, looks very clean, nice colour too.

Look up Jags bodyshop in Ilford Essex, he quoted me £500 to fit and spray a tech 2 kit and his work is excellent.

Don't get yellows if your driving is fast road at best, as they wont perform to full potential, greens will fade on a track quickly, but ok for road use, reds prob the ones to go for if you want best of both.

Re: My head just exploded - I need help!
No offence taken mate - although someone somewhere must know how to increase displacement and at the same time lower compression - I tell you what, I'll trade a pic of my head exploding next to a mayonaised m20 for the answer!

Re: carbon fibre door cards
Maybe speak to the guy and see how many you would need to get a discount, and how much discount that would be - people tend to sign up once they know a definite price, and also once they know how many people are needed for the price. I for one may be interested in this, but I would want to know what...

Re: My head just exploded - I need help!
Yeah sorry about that - read the title back to myself and realised that may be what alot of people were expecting! I will be using forged pistons and rods for sure, the issue is the crank is cast on m44, wheras if I use m47 that is forged, so will be more robust. I am unsure as to whether I will hav...

Yeah they have quite a following amongst the m42/m44 lot - from what I can tell they build some excellent engines, not dealt with them personally but heard many good things.

My head just exploded - I need help!
I have an m44 engine that I basically want to extract more power from, and have been looking into stroking it using the m47 crank etc. What I am having trouble getting my head around is compression ration and piston heights etc, as I am not very sure about what is needed. What I want to achieve is t...

Re: Does Anybody Know Anything About This Car? 325i with M3
Was in PBMW a month or so ago, (which prob explains why he thought it would sell itself) and obviously they said the car was great etc etc. I do remember reading the black engine bay has been done puposefully, it is starting to become a bit of a trend (something nicked from the vw scene) I would lik...

Ok, I'm in the middle of an m44 conversion at the mo, engine is in and running, only on the existing 316 mounts as a temp measure. The problem we are having is the sump - it is the wrong way round, and it means we are going to have to modify the anti roll bar, as it was designed to sit round the old...

It's kind of difficult to explain, but I want to freshen the car up, but still keep that retro 80's look, as a sort of homage to it's heyday.
I'm even thinking of retaining a SMALL amount of chrome
