iirc, BMW had a thing a few years back saying that any BMW engine will fit into any BMW.
To prove their point they stuck a V12 from E38 750 into a Z3! 8O

So in answer to your question....

Re: Brainmooore - Heated REAR electric seats...?

The safest / best approach might be to use the 3rd party wirirng and find a way to mate their loom to the OEM switches. It can't be that difficult as it's not the most complicated system in the world. If I were doing it to mine this is how i'd do, I'm assuming the 3rd party loom comes with the 3rd ...

Price seems good, what warranty does it come with though? You don't really want to be spending £52 again in 8 months time................

NOT Halfords because they want £80 for one! I managed to get one from stealers for £53 so there is some margin on them for them to reduce if your clever at bartering!

I reckon you'd prob need to leave just before seven if you wanted to roll in to services at same time (obviously if your going to be keeping to 70mph  )

Only differences I saw in spec was some had a headunit, others didn't - they just had a carbon plate in it's place,
Apart from that it was just the wheels i seen you could get that differed.

Oh and if you had a racing licence you could get one without 155mph limit on!

One of the pipes (I think the left) has a flap inside to close it off under certain conditions such as warm up and i think over-run aswell (it's in the tailpipe) this flap is controlled by the DME so if you fit a none-approved system without this jobbie the exhaust operation/effeciency will be affec...
