does the later E30 floor carpet comes with insulation fitted together? Mine is a 1984 2 door and the floor carpet doesn't come with any insulation pads.

does adding a grounding cable to the alternator straight from the battery -ve terminal helps? A friend of mine was suggesting to add 2 grounding cable. One to the battery +ve and another to the battery -ve terminal. It was said to assist the alternator to charge. Don't know how true is this. Had any...

They look so cool and clean. Will get mine out and send for powder coating next month. Will stick to the common black color since the mechanics at my place love to place their greasy hands on my shining inlet manifold.

it could be the seat absorbers. Mine is totally not working. Whenever i pull the lever, the seat backing would fall down instead of coming up.

i think the size of the fuel tank is accurate. I had filled up to 50l at a point of a time. Could be the gauge problem as the speedo had been replaced with a used unit. thx for the input.

I got the braided hoses for my 323i and it feels really great when u are going downhille coz with rubber hose, your brakes would be spongy after it gets hot. Ok..thx for the advice..I'm also thinking of getting the genuine BMW exhaust as it comes with the twin piping before the centre box and the piping after the box till the back box. Guess it's more value for money this way as you can be sure that things won't go wrong with genuine parts. Peace of mind..

If your engine bay sounds loud when u start the engine, it could be the exhaust pipe leaking somewhere at the joint. This is what i encounter for my car. I do agree with Mark. Ok.. now i know what they are talking about. Guess they are trying to psyco me to believe that having the rust back is a normal thing and got nth to do with their workmanship (which could be poor). I've a 2 door E30 with tech 1 kit..still have the chrome on the front and rear bumper with rubber mouldings..
Wonder what color would be go well with the tech 1 kit?

Guys, i'm thinking of upgrading my exhaust system as the front piping (manifold to centre box) is broken. Currently using the original twin piping with 1 centre box and a remus back box.
