Will a M-tec II bodykit of a 2 door coup fit a convertible ?

Im not to sure which part is giving trouble yet, Its hopefully going back to my mechanic next week so if the cost wasn't huge I would love to get it repaired as I'm trying to put the car back to original form.

Hi guys, Im trying to restore a 89 325i motorsport cabby, the power hood seems to have given up and from what the mecanic is saying to me it could be an expensive repair.

So, is it possible to convert the power hood to a proper manual hood and if so what would be involved ?

Thanks for the info guys. Its seems its a pre face lift motorsport edition model apparently the interior in the motor sport is differant. If the car is a genuine motorsport edition, it would be a shame to change the kit. Id try keep the car original :!: so i think id put the Mtech 1 sideskirts on it...
