Problem with clocks?
My first e30 so please excuse me if this is a stupid question but the word check illuminates and flashes on and off on my dials why is this? and secondly the temp gauge goes all the way to max on start up and then stays there. Ignore the arrowed bolts insted remove the nuts that hold the brackets on that those bolts fasten to. You can see the black bracket behing the bumper its the nuts that hold that to the shell you need to remove.

If the torque head bolts are the 2 you can see looking up at the bottom of the bumper then you need to ignore them as you cannot get them back on with the lip in place. Insted you need to remove the 4 nuts that hold the brackets to the body shell that the 2 torque head bolts go through(if that makes...

The way mine is fitted you will need to remove the bumper by unbolting the the 4 nuts that hold the mounting brackets to the rear pannel, (not the 2 allen bolts from underneath as you would usually when removing the bumper as with the lip fitted you will not be able to access the bolts to bolt the b...

What are these plugs for?
In my engine bay i noticed 2 plugs disconnected. The plugs are located on the same loom as the idle control valve which is plugged in. it might be worth checking what suspension is on the car... It is lowered and uprated but of unknown origin, as it is old and rusty. My guess is that its a cheap kit from many moons ago. She's not too bad at all. The rear arches are starting to bubble an there are loads of niggles like the wipers dont work, sunroof needs fixing etc. I carnt pick her up till monday but ill get cracking on her as soon as she's home.
