Naah, for 62k it would be bargin. Some comforts just no traction to make it leathal and not for the faint hearted. When you think of how fast it would be it's bargin. It certainly would not be in my budget ,lol. It is still better than a lot of ideas and rubbish these designers come up with.. is tha...

Too true but I couldn't see it being too costly as they have all the equipment etc etc. IWith the German efficiency it would be a doddle. I am going to write to them and suggest it. But maybe build a few more as you said. They should have done this instead of making the new 1 series I mean what were...

I think the v8 is pushing it but it would be comical if they put in the v10.
I think we should get a vote going and make them do it.

If I worked for the BMW design team I would suggest building the follwing: Limited edition of 1000 Use the original design for the m3 e30 which they must have scrunched up somewhere. then squeeeeeeze in the new V8 m3 engine but leave off the traction control and any other rubbish. Include some luxur...

Impreza/cosworth engine! keep dreaming
Just been out with the old man in his new toy. I want the engine in my e30  Subaru impreza type 25 spec c LITCHFIELD. The car has just done 700 miles so is about worn in according to the cosworth guys who build them. It flies, when tested last week it's at 412bhp @ 7000. Should be around 415 + ...

These ones went on ebay but for £900 I personally think these would look ace on an e30 coupe in black. However they are a bit ott and they are also a little to hard on the wallet. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BBS-RS-001-3-PIECE-SPLIT-RIMS-VW-GOLF-GTI-G60-BMW-E30_W0QQitemZ300126338941QQihZ020QQcategoryZ14...

They do, expecially on the black coupe like yours.
I saw a set sell on ebay around a month ago I think they went for around £400 and they were in great condition.
I'm keeping am eye out for a set now I have some funds but I rekon they are very rare.

Re: new kid on the block
My choice would be a 325i coupe 1986 - 1990. If the insurance doesn't sting you I'd get a sport. With the money from a mk4 golf you should be able to find a mint/excellent example. You wont regret going for the 2.5i 6 cylinder they shift. Something like this baby here: http://web.mac.com/mikemunson/...

Looking up the statistics I found these
http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/ ... =31064&BMW
are they correct?
If so, surely the 325is is as fast or faster than the m3??
170 bhp per ton

Re: 320iS
power to weight beats the 325i but the weight is a fraction more according to the stats above.
I never new there was a 320is, I'd like a go in one.
Are they all LHD shame if so. 190bhp from 2.0litres n/a in 1987 is awesome, must be a great sound to them

Engine temperature??? 1986 325i soft top
Hi, I drive my e30 to work (17 miles) and back every day and often more. The temperature gage gets to a quarter and stays around there even if I am driving fast reving highly for 3 miles or so it stays the same. Is that normal? It has once nearly reached the middle when sat in traffic for 30 mins or...

Re: 320iS
Seems as if the 320i is quicker than 325i but going by these stats which seem pretty accurate the m3 is better in all areas. I would like to see the 325i vs 320is as the 325i 320is http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=94985&BMW 325i http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car...

Re: Should I put borbet A's on my tech1?
If it were my decision I would keep the wheels you have or go for some 16" bbs rims deep dished. A set sold on ebay a while back. Not sure what stud fitments you can get They would look soooo class on your motor. Could cost a bit more but worth it.
I am keeping my eyes out for a set.

PREVIOUS OWNERS???
My car has had 17 owners registered on the log book including me.
I am tempted to get the car up to A1 condish. The engine is genuine 112k and there is FA rust.
Would you ever consider buying a mint car that has had 17 previous owners???? I'm thinking it will put people off.
cheers, Leyton
