Re: pneumatic headlamp adjusters.
Thanks for that - good advice. Has anyone had any success refilling the system ? I would imagine it's not as easy as it sounds, and I'm still unsure how it would work, there must be some pressure in the system if the strength of the return springs is anything to go by. RealOEM shows the looms to be the same across all of the models, but they list different looms depending on the year of the car.
http://www.realoem.lv/showparts.php?lan ... 263&gear=M
No idea what the differences are.

Hi Jon, If you want i have a complete uncut loom from a '89 touring 325 (Shame Brian mentioned they are not the best loom to start with!)
I've listed it on ebay this afternoon, but it's yours if you want it, otherwise I'll weigh it in

Re: Old/new bumpers info+electrical issue
Fair amount of work to upgrade chrome to plastic bumpers. At the front you will need new front valance At the back you'll need to modify the rear bumper as the rear arches are a different shape on your chromie. To fit facelift rear lights you either need to replace or modify the back panel, and modi...

As Cotswolds are now closed for the weekend, I'll butt in.
As yours is a plastic bumper model, then it's 2 pieces on the front, and 3 on the back. Budget about £25 to £30 each piece. Although it's been a few years since i bought any.

I thought it was compulsory to own a Ute in Oz, (just realised your in NZ...)
I loved my old convertible for the same reason, roof down and you can fit in sooooo much stuff, once had a Land Rover Series 2a bulkhead in the back of mine, stuck out so far it was like an air brake.
