the big reds and earth at the ecus
pin 13 to the fuel pump
connect pin 21 to live
and short pin18 to a live it will try and start ?

have an m60 and auto box lined up.
its out of the car and complete with ecus loom etc all still connected.
what would be the bare minimun wires i would need to connect to get it running on the ground ?

strange. are the rad mounts different on different models.
when i did mine on a 325 they had to go as the rad would not slide down far enough

trust me works fine with auto loom with the ecu not connected . ask oze30 he bought my unfinished running conversion :) Ok, well that's good to know just in case :) Do you've any more details of the autoloom with manual gearbox? Just plug it in as normal and that's it? i used a 5spd manual from a 5...

you dont have to use a manual loom. works fine with the auto one without the gearbox ecu plugged in.

not really . the mounts are east to make . if someone was to sell exhaust manifolds then it would be an easier swap as thats the biggest pain in the assJonsku wrote:They've been there for months ;)
Anyways, it's good that there're V8 mounts available, makes things a lot easier.

did you finish the last one derek? never heard anymore after you woke up your nightshift neighbour. got a taste for v8 conversions now? :D didn't quite finish it m8 . no time or money so i sold it to oze30 who raped it and put most of the running gear into his touring. i bought it in aberdeen yeste...

there a bit of a hit or a miss.
i've had two sets . first set on my old sport were abasolutely fine.
second set on my old touring had all the traits of a bad set ( WOBBLED LIKE A GOODUN AFTER 80MPH)
spigot rings made no difference
