Bad earth?
Hi all, My 325i is having a few issues of late! Every now and then the OBC and all the instrument cluster dials go completly dead, but then come back to life for a short period of time? I've been told this could be a bad earth, but I've had a look around the battery and cleaned up the terminal and s...

How to open a electric sunroof?
Hi all, no I'm not that much of an idiot, but I want to know if there is a way of manually opening an electric sunroof with a knackered motor?
The end result is to be able to actually remove the old rusty sunroof and fit my new one, along with a new motor!
Cheers

How to ID a diff?
Hi all, I'm trying to find out what ratio a diff is. I know there's a bendy small plate on it that holds this information, but it was rusty so I tried cleaning it a little and I'm now left with a very shiny piece of metal! Is there any other way of obtaining this information? Part numbers on the sid...

mincedbeef, cheers mate, have had a look, and as far as I can tell, all looks well! Thanks bling and zimmer! I take it a thrust bearing is a clutch out job? Are we sure it's the thrust bearing? From cold the car does not judder, but the hotter it gets, it starts to judder on the biting point when yo...

Car juddering (clutch?)
Hi all, when I let off at the biting point with no revs, or very little revs the car really judders, and when I turn the car off, I get a really bad rattle noise; it is also there faintly whenever I let the clutch out? I'm guessing this is a clutch problem, but as far as I can tell, the clutch is OK...

I was certain it wasn't a fuel leak problem, but now I'm not sure, I thought it was overfuelling or something?
