Re: 325i cabrio Exhaust

Hi Brett, Yeah thats about right i was quoted £1000+vat. They faxed me through 2 options, 1 with cat(£1000) and 1 without cat £265 but my mechanic said the one without the cat wont fit. I will leave it for now as i am not about to pay that kind of money for 1 part of an exhaust for an old car. I wil...

What suspension for my cab

Just fitted 16's on my cab and now want to lower it slightly. Last suspension i bought for an e30 was a spax psx kit i had on a saloon. It was really good at handling but not what i want for the cab. I want it to handle well but not be crashy, i want less roll in the corners. i would like it to sit ...

Re:

I heard years ago about the centre box poblem with the scorpions so i put a genuine 325i centre box on and bought a scorpion half system which consists of the downpies after the ctre bit and a le mans back box. Problem i kept on getting tho was the back box hangers kept on shearing at the welds so i...

16" hartge wheel nuts query??

I have a set of 16" 4 stud hartge's on way from a fellow zoner (Thanks chopperjase). What i'm not sure about is weather or not my normal wheel nuts from standard 15" bbs wheels will do the job on the hartge 16's. Can anyone who has changed onto these wheels help? The wheels are coming without any nu...

watch out with the wonder wheels. if your wheels have been re-coated or if theres any scrapes etc where the top coat has been comprimised the stuff will ruin them. My advice, plenty soap and water and get in to those nightmare little crevvises with a stiff wheel cleaning brush (auto glym one good).T...

16'' hartges are by far my all round best wheel for e30.! Yes big 17's and 18's look the part but try hammering round a twisty road with the odd bump n pot hole here and there, It's a nightmare. Nothing beats the drive of standard 15'' wheel and 205/55/15 tyres found on 325i but 16's with 215/50/16 ...

My experience with perfomance panel filters is mixed really. I had a 57i kit on my 320i and while on the move especially on a cold day the car went like the clappers but if you leave it idling for 10mins or get stuck in traffic then the exposed filter would suffer from heat absorbtion so when you pu...

Cheers for the info guys i think the seal needs attention and not the window because both near and offside is doing it.

it's weird, sometimes it's fine when raining but only leaks if you open the door or window for a second but other times it just pisses when im driving and ALWAYS hits my leg.

yeah im sure its locking properly because the locks are really stiff to turn. It seems to be this seal which the window goes up into. (same one keith?) Ill give a try at the silicon grease though, you seem to know what your on about. Hopefully this should work. The hood itself is in perfect conditio...

Please help my hood's leaking

i recently bought an absolute mint 325i cab 1 owner and 39k on the clock but i have one gripe!.. the roof seems to be leaking at the top corner of the front windows (where they meet the A-windows). Can anyone who knows their cabs come to my rescue and tell me what to do? Is it a common fault? ...
