Help with converting my steering rack?
Ok, I know this has been covered loads of times but could someone list exactly what parts I will need to fit e36 steering rack onto my e30 89 325i sport. My old rack is knackered so thought this would be ideal time to upgrade.

torque wrench settings
Hi.. can someone please give me the torque wrench settings for the rocker cover on a M20 engine in a 525i, and the setting for the big bolt that holds the oil filter housing onto the block. cheers

PLEASE HELP. I am trying to source a material supplier so I can re-upholster my car. I already know where I can get leather from but I am after some standard interior fabric, any ideas?

HELP
. I have just fitted some new leads to my 325i sport but when I started the car after fitting them my alarm activated and the immobiliser cut the engine. Now whenever I try to start the car the same thing happens!!!!!?????

Quick update. Just had my mot today :( . Really pleased. Went through with no major probs. Needed trackrod end, bulb and rear brake cylinder refurbed and thats it. Brilliant another years ticket :D . I have done a few upgrades aswell. Wil get some pics up asap. Am also considering turbo`ing the beas...

Can anyone help? I am trying to locate a supplier of upholstery fabric suitable for a BMW. I have tried the dealers and the fabric I am after is no longer available through them.

Thanks for the comments guys. As to my arm.......well I was happily finishing and polishing up the rim of one of my original bbs wheels. Using a small cutting disc to machine the scuffed edge of the wheel, slipped then ouch :cry: . blood squirted across the wheel and up the wall so shouted by brothe...

Ok, been getting some of the bodywork sorted. Started with the big hole I found in the osr arch. Took it to a mates workshop. Am really pleased with the job he done. looking real good matey, how much you dropping it 60/40 or 80 all round. -80 would look smooth for the stealth, unless you have speed bumps round your manor. oh and nice cut 8) Will probally lower 60/40 to start with. Strange noise from steering??
Help, when i turn my steering wheel i get a strange sort of creaking sound? Really obvious at low speed or when pulling off.

Ok, I have been cleaning and undersealing the car. Still have some small areas to do. More work done......
At last the sun was shinning so I could get on with some work on my sport. First job was to remove rusty bung in floor pan and fit new one. some nice jobs done already! futur plans? Next job is to give it a good clean underneath and apply new underseal including all arches. Fit new passenger door and prep and respray. Looking good. Gonna do the all red lights on mine too. I did have smoked ones but they lookd a bit rubbish tbh. Keep up the good work. I do like the red, especially on a darker coloured car. Going to get smoked side and front indi`s and hopefully headlights aswell so the rears might stay as they ar...

Car's looking sweet....Keep the lights as they are now...smoked lights will leave no contrast!! not sure how much you'll be able to see that badge on the back now??? and i think your picture has some right height issues....only kidding...nice drawing!!! Great looking car :D ,is it diamond black? How much is it costing for the work and respray as I need to get mine done? Thanks and yes it is diamond black and its costing me £1250 for the panel and paint with me doing the strip and fitting and thats with a discount! Alot of money but well worth it...
