I feel lucky now, i had just recently had mine off the car and shot blasted and i painted it with galvanising paint, i don't like the finish . i wanted it to be properly galvanised but couldn't find anyone, so gave up.
but i now know it wasn't that easy to find a replacement either

thanks for the answers guys. i did what you said. i didnt think i unplugged it,
the hose was dirty on the inside like it was never attached. shame i spent 40 quid in copper nickel pipe i didnt need lol

yep i have a cab 325i and just had to do the same lines. the cracking through age , and worth also checking all the fuel lines down the passenger side to the tank.. they get old rusty and the rubber cracks. and after my mot failed on them , not long after i saw a cab burnt out on the top of the m23 ...

you can do water pump without doing the cambelt.
the tensioner doesnt move.
and the 32mm spanner with the alternator belt tight and a hammer . towards the passenger side so clockwise.

e36 4 door car failed mot on the rear brake pipes. the ones that go over the tank and to the flexi hose . on both sides

i think the 45 deg angle is cut on it because it is part of two of them . it sits on the battery tray ridge in the boot and hasanother smaller one on there too

on the big end bearings .. big end is the lower end of the conrods where the conrod is attached to the crank. the little end is the end of the conron where the piston is attached with the gudgen pin. type big end rattle on utube theres a few cars on there with this sound. this might help you . o som...
