if fuel injectors are switching but your getting no sparks, it could be a dizzy cap and rotor arm problem.

if you say that there is no water leak, then flush all the coolant out from the engine, change the thermostat and then make sure you bleed the coolant removing all air so you dont have any airlocks.

and these m3 eccentric bushes are for the wishbones right? i will buy original bmw bushes, i am looking to change all of them regardless if they need not to. so which ones make the main difference for the drive. as when i turn a full lock and do a turn i hear a knocking noise from underneath.

consider a ramp as you do not want to have the gearbox on your chest which will make the job a lot harder.

my car is going to the garage on saturday as i am changing my suspension. while the suspension is off, i am just wondering, apart from the mounts what bushes should i change and with what, as i read a lot of stuff about poly bushes and m3 eccentric bushes but i am not very familiar with these mods. ...

one question, off topic but this pipe on my friends car was connected to the throttle body cover and has now cracked. its going to be changed asap but just wondering the symptomps of this pipe not connected? rough idle, petrol consumption, power loss etc things like that

what about the hosees that connect on to the fuel filter. mine had a very minute leak coming from the top hose connecting to the filter but gave a very strong smell.

upgraded bilstein shocks as a replacement to your originals and a set of eibach 30mm springs are supposed to give good comfort and decent handling.

the temp guage sits in the middle, takes normal time to get there, after a cold start will take about 3 mins of idle to start moving from the cold zone, another 3-4 mins of driving and starts to go nearly to the middle of the temp dial. i used bosch spark plugs that were put in in august. i mostly drive around town. it was not this bad since i had the car last year. is there a way to check if there is a chip on my car? also what is recommended to do to give me atleast over 20 mpg.

nop no leaks what so ever on the fuel lines so will eliminate this out of possible reasons for poor consumption.

im not sure if it does that, all i know is when the car starts to get warm, the rev meter just jumps between 300rpm and 900rpm for about 20 seconds to a minute and then totally stops. when i drive the car it doesnt affect the drive at all, but sometimes just before the car stops, the rev meter jumps...

ant, i left the engine till the temp guage was in the middle. opened up the oil cap and the engine started chocking and hunting, it didnt cut off though. i take it thats a good sign? whats the next step boss?
