Hi
I took the gearbox out 6 months ago and I am putting it back tonight :o: does the big terminal have the red wire and black wire on it or just red wire I cant remember. If only the red then the black is a negative where does it go

Hi
I was thinking about putting larger wheels on my 325 how big should I go.I was thinking about 16s does 17s cause problems with handling?I think 17s look better but I dont want to compromise handling also how wide should I go without rubbing arches

I checked the gromet and it is torn,there is a previous repair done to it but no rust,what is the mass of wiring going through it

Hi
The gromet on the passenger side bulkhead of my 325 is leaking water badly in to the foot well the wiring loom from the ecu goes through it,it is damaged and needs replacing is it easier to replace the whole loom or the gromet either way looks a nightmare

heater switch

Hi
When I turn on the heater nothing happens until I get to the 4th setting and it works at full tilt as normal but nothing on the first 3 settings.Is the switch causing it?

Car and classic had an ad for an h23 the ad is still there automec was selling it they want 700 for it i assume that is the kind of money they are making :?

Is there a master cylinder that i can fit to my 325 that will boost braking performance i was thinking that i might upgrade to wms keri frnt brakes the master cylinder that would not need any change fittings i think i saw here before something about a golf master cylinder that

I agree I think I will be putting cheaper wheels on and spend the rest of the money elsewhere.The bodywork is being fully restored and resprayed I have done all the mechanicals so maybe I will upgrade the front brakes or something

I had planned on going 16"s I got a price for bbs 16s from just matz but they want £2700 before I even put a tyre on it thats alot of bread for wheels

Calibre vintage 16" good or not so good

Has anybody got a set of calibre vintage wheels they look good and with dare and lenso not getting good reviews they seem like a good alternative to the prohibitive price tag but are they robust?is the laquer long lasting

Hi
My rear pads and discs are worn and a bit tired so I was thinking about an upgrade.Is there any benefit to fitting "performance" kit to the rear when most of the braking is done in the front if there is what would be recomended
