Leaning Beemer

My car appears to lean towards the passenger side. It has always done so since purchase and I've recently upgraded to an H&R kit but the stance remains. I'm not great mecanically but wondered if anyone could shed anylight onto why this may occur? I'm thinking bushes or suspension mount failings?

Dashboard gauges

Just started up my car and the gauges, bar the speedo, has packed up - no temp, no fuel, no revs. The revs do register for a couple of secOnds then dies. Any ideas chaps?

Insurance.....

Hello Chaps,
Do any of you have any advice as to how to insure my track day car in the cheapest possible way. I only require cover for driving to and from trackdays (not on track). I normally do about 6 events per yer.
Thanks

Is the tech 1 front bumper removal process the same as that of a facelift car..ie. two t55 torx bolts and slide off?

Re: Facelift or Pre-facelift?

Your car sounds great Al, did you notice any real gains from the exhaust and manifold? do you know how loud it is? LPG sounds interesting too, I take it you intend on keeping the car for some time then. My Dad has bought an absolutely mint pre-facelift 325i which could benefit from LPG ~ did it cost...

Re: Facelift or Pre-facelift?

Hello Al, hope you and the misses are well. My E30 is now a dedicated track car (sorn) and in need of a bit of TLC having spent the last 24 months being hammered around various tracks up and down the country. I've just ordered new rear wings, a pair of fronts (second hand) and a new exhaust. I'm mea...

Facelift or Pre-facelift?

Help! I have a Tech 1 Sport which requires two new rear wings. The car registration is 'E' which is 1988 (correct me if wrong) and I've always considered the car to be a pre-facelift but I am now begining to wonder. Hadrians provide two different rear wing profiles, one pre-1987 and one post 1987 wh...

Cheers John, will a later unit algin with the rear wheelarch ok as I'm aware that they are a slightly different profile?

I'm guessing the different brackets would be relatively simple to fit, just drill a few new holes?!

Re: ride height

The car is stripped out so the rear will be lighter but would be surprised if this would result in raising ride height by 2 inches! Thanks for the replies. I had no idea that the rear wheel arch was different to later models and explains my problem fully. The car runs 15" wheels with 205x50 tyres. the ride height of my car is killing me. I have an H&R cup kit with a 60/40 drop but the rear of the car looks like its only had about a 20mm drop at the most. Cheers Uwe, I've been doing the maths this morning. I appreciate your comments and am not someone who under estimates what's involved. On reflection I'll probaly be looking to purchase a new Brian James Clubman and tow it with my bro's hilux.
