Re: interior display lights brightness
Thank you sir. It's up at maximum, I just wondered if the brightness might vary if the unit was a bit stuffed or the dimmer maybe a bit dirty. It's no biggy. Thanks for getting back so quickly though.

interior display lights brightness
Hiya chaps Not mega interesting but just wondered if you might know... My instrument lights seem a bit dull across the board ie heater/OBC and instrument cluster. Is this just the way it is or could it be something like the dimmer on the headlight pull switch? No hurry but if you've seen this before...

No, it's a 6 pin relay type box which looks like it should go either somewhere in the rear side panels or behind the glovebox. It may not even fix the problem but I though it was worth a go for a fiver. I'll take a look at the microswitch though seeing as you mentioned it. Thanks for responding anyw...

touring rear wiper interval regulator
Hello all I have a wayward rear wiper on my touring and recently bought a replacement interval relay for it from the wonderful ebay. My problem is that I don't actually know where this thing lives on the car. It's a Siemens 1 385 901 12V part called a Wisch-Wasch-Intervall Steuergerat. Lovely. I don...

Re:
My passenger one worked for about 3 months then the whole washer sytem including windscreen washers seized up. My local BMW git reckoned he had to disconnect them to get the windscreen washers working again. I don't know if this is true but at least I can see through the screen now. I quite like tha...

Re: touring rear wash wipe weirdness
Sorry about the late reply, been a bit busy... I sorted the wash problem by replacing the switches (ebay proved pretty seful and cheap there) but haven't had the time to check the microswitch for the parking problem yet. I'll give it a go and let you know how it pans out. Thanks for your help gents,...

front fogs
Hi all,
My o\s front fog lamp lense is smashed. Booh! Is it possible to just replace the glass or do I have to change the whole unit? Either way does anyone know a good place to source the bits? I'm in London (for my sins). Thanks chaps.

touring rear wash wipe weirdness
Hello chaps, I'm sure this is a rookie question but I'm having a spot of bother with my rear wash/wipe on my '89 325 touring. When the button is pressed the wiper goes through 3 or 4 cycles then stops anywhere on the glass that it deems appropriate. Also the wash doesn't work at all anymore. Is this...
