That says the m12 is a 19mm. dunno if that's the same as the prop bolt and nut. hope it helps.

Definitely check your insurance first, when I was going to buy my e30 I was looking for the 325i Sport but i had to be 21 and over to insure it. I'm insured on my 318is and it cost £164 a month. like previously said check your insurance first!

Can I just check prices for the following part numbers for a 90' 318is:

Front coil spring: 31331130043
Rear coil spring: 33539061589

2 of each please!

I think they are the right part numbers.

are you trying to change the ignition barrel? the door locks are held on by number 19/20 in the following link. a big screwdriver will remove them and the lock will then pop out with a bit of manovering.

My iS passed without an advisory, the tester even shook my hand and thanked me for owning an E30, he said that it was a pleasure to test. There was an 07 plate audi there that had £9000 worth of engine damage and it was only 4 months old! Congrats to you Andyboy!

Did the boot lock turn before the problem happened? It could be a duff motor, if you cant get the boot open, if you take off the back seat you should see a ski hatch, if it hasn't already been punched out you might need to "create" the hole and then using a long screwdriver you should be able to fid...

Ouch! Have you had a look at the connections and mechanism for the window the bump might have knocked something out or loose? Ive tried the fuses with no luck.
