I have just had an email from Nick @ TBMW.

Here is what he put. "I am writing the feature now and it will be out on the front cover for the Feb issue (out during the middle of Jan)"

He asked me to let you guys know.

Hi guy's

Good to meet you all and see your nice motor's.

Thanks to the boys @ TBMW.

I really enjoyed the day and the blast around the circuit was wicked (especially when my brake pads stopped working and burst into flames) lol

I blew a fuse once in mine (20 AMP) and the windows would not work unless the doors were opened.

I looked into this and I spoke to a bloke who fits NOS in doncaster (he actually supplies parts/kit to Wizards of NOS!! He said the standard 325i engine will run fine with 50/60 bhp jets. Also it will easily run 100-150 bhp jets with the computer controlled system that gradually increases the amount...

I have the delay unit in mine, it stays on for roughly 10 secs and then switches off.
My dad had a fully loaded E32 3.5 and the delay circuit stayed on for 10 secs too BUT!! his light faded off like they do in modern cars. So this module may not work on the E30 loom.

No I cant copy this chip. I can however copy the main eprom but it is mapped with the pectal pcb so its pretty useless. Sal are you sure this chip can be used then for a one off custom map with MAF. If thats the case I may as well use it. I dont see me doing anything else to engine has most stuff is...

Chip question.***not usual crap***

I am going to get MAF conversion done soon and realise I need a unichip. Now I have in my possession a Race Logic piggy back chip. I was wondering if this could be used as a replacment for the unichip. The eprom on the small pectal pcb is a standard M27C256 type. http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/5...

Dont let it get low on fuel!!!

Thats a bit bizare mate as the fuel is regulated to 2.5 bar regardless off amount of fuel in tank.

Usually High idle is caused by a sticking ICV or throttle linkage etc

Astondg - can't you take the clock out and move the needle round a little.

I know it will sit back down onto the rest peg but all movements have a min and max point.

I have heard of this before after someone painted their needle and did not put it back properly and got inaccurate mph readings. :?

I paid Ԛ£120 for mine years ago.

It is a sparco one but when it arrived the leaflet and packaging said it was not manufactured by sparco.

I have also seen 3 Hartge strute braces exactly the same but with Hartge etched onto the center plate. mmmmmm

Hope it means mine is an Hartge one.

3rd question- I think this is the thrust bearing on the gear box, mine does it. Dont worry about it.

Maybe its because Hartge forged there own crank.

I had a little rust showing under the spoiler, took the spoiler off and 2 of the 7 holes where it bolts were rusted. :?
Rusted bad enough for me to put on a mint lid anyway.
