I just had to change my head as I had the same issue, oil in the water tank. Craked head.

hi my mate fitted a Z3 2.8 diff on his. Fit straight on.

Hi mate, I had the same problem,
Check the connections at the diff. My wires had a loose connection.
If you accelarate suddenly the speedo just dropped, until you released the pedal.

it could also be the wire conector which is on the fuel gauge sender under ur seat. You should check that out as well

mate it is one of the fuses somewhere becoz the same thing happened to me and i took it to a bimmer specialist and he changed some fuse somewere and it worked

The cab is a L reg, to be honest I never thought they made them in L reg's. Something else I learnt today.

Great looking cars. I had the same as the white one, re sprayed it to a pearl white.

hi mate,

I have heard that they are the same, only difference is on the cloth, electric uses cables to pull the roof down,
the frame should be the same

Keeps blowing fuse

Hi Guys, Everytime the ignition is turned on, fuse number 10 keeps blowing. the heater blower, petrol gauge, temp gauge, rev counter, check computer electric mirrors and reverse lights stop working. Only the spedo works. any ideas, some one said check the glove dept light but the wires are all taped...
