Peak torque is actually less in the 318i with cat, 119lb.ft vs 121lb.ft for the 320i with cat. Without cat it has 122lb.ft, the 320i has 128lb.ft. I driven a 318i and didn't think it was torqier than 320i to be honest, just wasn't as nice an engine in my opinion.

Would anyone know someone that converts electric hoods to manual ones?

A manual 320i cab weighs 1280kg, says so in the handbook.

When i go to put the hood down it won't move unless i force it, now the lid won't lift up on its own. I can still here the motor working though.

Hi, would anyone know if there any companies in the London/south east area that specialise in repairing convertible hoods. My E30 convertible has an electric roof but the mechanism has become stuck, the electric motor is still working though. Any help would be greatfully apreciated.

Everyone slags off the 2.0 ltr but i love my 320 cab, its sounds great. I don't really care that it isn't the fastest car in the world, people don't buy four seater convertibles for performance do they? But if you're coming from a golf gti then maybe the 325 is a better bet.
