E30 Zone

Can anybody recommend a supplier for the outer rear n/s wheel are as mine needs replacing , its for a 1990 325i cabriolet I’m after decent quality ones .

Hi , I have used this welder to do a small patch up job and it's a great little welder , just be aware that you get a smoother and cleaner weld if you use it with The gas bottle.

Hi Andy , have you taken the wing off the car yet ? .
The reason for asking is, I had the same problem on my cab and when the wings where taken off I found the tin worm had started on the inside wheel arch .

Just a few questions regarding the heater fan motor on the e30 .
Are all the motors the same through out the range and are the z3 motors the same as on the e30 ? Thanks in advance .

Hi , the lamps I used where from Maplins and I used the spec that I found on the technical search facility (they are not led).

My obc display was not working ie no illumination,so i replaced the light board on the back of the unit ,now it light up when I turn the ignition on ,and then when I switch the lights on it goes off ,any ideas would be gratefully received.

Is it possible to fit new exhaust manifold gaskets by just removing the manifold nuts and pulling the manifold away from the head ? Or would I need to remove the exhaust pipe ?.

Just a quick question regarding the nuts that hold the exhaust manifold on ,the car is a 325i .
Would it be better to use a nut splitter on them or play Russian roulette with a spanner .

There was a nice black convertible with hardtop on, in Cheshire oaks this afternoon ( reg Sam 555) is he a zoner ?.

Thanks for the pictures Ben , I see there is no hole on the picture ! But on my car all that panel is rusted and that hole is behind that panel so still in limbo .

Don't want to weld it up, until I am 100 % sure , but thanks for the response .

I have found the dreaded tin worm behind both front wings on my convertible which is not a major problem as I can weld a new piece in and repair it .
My issue is with the drain holes , I know there are two at the botton of the sil behind the wing ,but are there any above these ?.

Does it just prise off ?
