my cars been playing up and the mot is runing out sumtime this october, i havent got much time to put it back on the road not sure wot it mite fail on, and now it dont seem to start for sum reason. i was wondering how much it would b worth if i sold the whole thing without mot n tax? it has alpina c...

yes m8 i think the wheels do go hot hence the smell, and its like the car doesnt want to go anywhere in drive (automatic) its struggling to move like kind of thing, the car is a 320i 6 cylinder automatic im sure its a m20 engine and has rear drums instead of discs, could it b the handbrake cable bco...

i got a problem with my handbrake doesnt seem to work and i can smell something as i drive the car coming from the rear, and when i drive the car doesnt feel free its like draging any ideas wot it can be? thanks

i did ask the recovery guy he told me to fill it up with water while the car is runing n wen the temp goes on half just squeez the pipes n make sure theres no air lock and the car goes warm from inside to make sure ur therostat is opening and its not stuck etc. i dont no how do to it myself this is ...

i had the same problem m8 and i called the recovery he put lots of water in the car n took the air lock out bleeding or watever it is and now its stays on the half mark b 4 it would go on the red and overheat hope this helps

also would it b better to convert into an manual n keep the 2litre engine or would it be better to change the engine 2 a 325i one? just was wondering

i guess i wil have to convert the rear drums to discs then for more stopping power as im thinkin of the engine swap soon

just wondering if anyone knows wot the bhp wil be on an automatic if i switch engines from a 2litre to a 2.5litre? also would i need to convert the brakes on the rear instead of the drums? thx

my 1 wheel was cracked yes sam and i got that repaired and now this is the second 1, i got the lads to check it after it was loosing air and they told me theres to small cracks in it thas y the air dont stay it just goes :cry: so now i got to repair this 1, and if anymore crack im gona bin them and ...

the reason why i did put this post up is bcoz i heard many times ppl having cracked alpina reps and they need welding etc and im one of them

ive had other wheels in the past on my previous cars but never had this crack problem this the first time after i got these alpina reps

may b its just my luck then, thing is i dont remember hiting any curbs or potholes or anything, all i no is the wheel was loosing air and the tyre guy says ther is 2 smal cracks, than again i dont have the bk ones may b i got the cheapy copys oh wel best way is to get rid of them i guess
