Wet parcel shelf!!
Hi all, As you'll all have noticed, we've had a bit of a downpour over the last 3 days. This led to me noticing a damp smell within my boot, and on further inspection this evening I found that the passenger side of the parcel shelf is wet! It's only wet at the base, the interior cabin aspect is tota...

Removing Tech-1 Steering Wheel Buttons!!!
Hi all, I have a 370mm Tech-1 wheel and a few weeks ago, after pressing the bottom horn button, it chose to stay sounding! I had to pull out the fuse in order to preserve my sanity, but now do not have a functioning horn! I believe the metal contacts beneath the button must be in constant contact, a...

Thanks!
Have a feeling it may be a stuck button - as when fiddling with the buttons the horn intermittently stops sounding. How best to fix these? Do I need to pop the buttons off?

Steering wheel/horn issues!
Dear all, So, my problem stems from an incident last week when an ignorant [female] driver chose to pull out in front of me on a roundabout having only looked to her left. Mistake. I was understandably quite angry, so chose to horn, and my horn then chose to keep sounding, even once I had let go. Em...

Re: H&R cup kit
Christian, I used to run the 60/40 H&R kit and thought it was brilliant. Ride height was great in my opinion (not too low, but sits very well). I now run an Eibach kit with Bilstein shocks, and I would agree that the H&R kit was stiffer in comparison. Also made the rear a little more twitchy! Great ...

16" BBS (OEM M3)
Afternoon guys,
Does anybody know the full spec on the OEM BBS wheels that came on the M3?
I'm after the width (think they're 8J) and the offset...
If anybody knows what they're called (ie BBS RZ + specific code?) that would also be grand!
Thanks in advance
Ajay

Re: Driver's door C404 plug
Thanks Brian, do you think a good plan of action would be: a) Red/black wire modification b) Replace any individual pins which have corroded/broken with new BMW pins I'm not entirely sure what is causing my central locking problem. If you recall my previous post - it was essentially a jammed passeng...

Driver's door C404 plug
Hi guys, The driver's side [C404] plug on my sport is suffering from corrosion and I'm hoping to re-wire a new plug in, as cleaning hasn't worked. Can these plugs (both male and female ends) be bought from BMW? If so, how do they come - plugs alone, or plugs + wiring loom. If anyone has done this in...

Ordering New BMW Key... Options?
Hi Guys, Silly question I know, but thought I'd seek your advice on this. I only have the spare key for my Sport, and am hoping to have a new key cut this week. Re: 325i Sport Door Lock (Won't open!)
Right, a friend of mine managed to get the door card off and the actuator is fine. However, the driver's side C404 plug is corroded and I think one of the pins may be missing. What're my options? Do I need to wire in new male and female plugs, or is there another alternative? Thanks once again. Ajay

That's a nice sport, the imola red leather works well with a black car. Don't worry too much about a feature mate, as long as you're happy with the car yourself.
