Dose it make the niose when the car is not moving?? sounds like your clutch relise bearing...... when you depress the clutch (when the car is not moving) dose the sound go away? if it dose its a ((% chance its the clutch relise bearing) hope this helps

Well Ant was sayin that you could run like 600bhp on standard bottom end i only want 400 and as a bonus less lag i gess.. Phill i think you may wand to look at going for more power than 300 mayb 500-600bhp???? from what ant was saying.. and you have exsternal wast gate, low comp ,throttle bodys etc....

when my tech 1 gets hot i get this vibrating...
it speeds up and slows down with the speed of the engine.
ive changed the water pump and the cam belt and tesioner..
its really pi**ing me off too
ive tested it wile holding the fan and there was no change

i some times have i problem getting into third gear it always crunches and some times it wont go into first... if you throw it hard in to third the gear stick seems to go exstra far forward and it goes in fine... i could be my syncromesh but i also think it could be the linkage any body els had this...

And what are the correct disc's?

ok so i sould be leaving the ports alone and i dont see my self adding material to them. i know alpina use bigger valves in there m20 head mayb i should get the spec for that. i think the best idea is for me to match the ports up to my inlet manifold.

well ive got a 1987 325i sport, dose any one know the original engine spec for that car? I think may b changing the car to the later closed loop engine motronic would be a bit long..., how much power would i get? so will i see a gain from big valves? I'm goin to build up a head any way with new stem...

i just want to know if any one has ever had an engine cut out problem, where the engine will cut out at random and there is alot of hesitation on acceleration.
the compression is fine and also the fuel pump relay cutting in and out
