Manual quick steering rack?

The pas rack on my E30 has excessive play in it and needs replacing. I understand that the E36 pas rack fits the E30 with a few modifications, and it has the added benefit of being 3.2 turns lock to lock instead of 4. Which sounds great, but I want to convert my E30 to manual steering. I understand ...

Re: No fuel pressure - Help needed!

E30's don't use anything as primitive as an inertia switch. The engine ECU integrates pulses from the crank position sensor, and uses these to control the fuel pump relay. Sorry just re-read that, I mean a switch that in the event of an accident turns the fuel pump off. Many cars have them lots of ...

No fuel pressure - Help needed!

My 318 passed it MOT yesterday, which was great. However today the bloody thing won't start. It cranks over fine, but won't fire. I checked the fuel line and there is no fuel pumping through the lines. I also can't hear the pump priming, I've checked the fuses which all seem to be fine and swapped t...

Looks fuggin awesome! 10/10 for stance and wheels.

I have to say I am now considering a tourer as a contender, I was hooked on the idea of a coupe. But your estate just looks hard as nails.

Re: My 318i

Stick some steels on it and drop it a bit more, you'll be on to a winner.

IMO the front spoiler look better black.

Re: turbocharged 325i

Depending how much meat the pistons have on them, can't the original pistons be machined down to lower compression?

Re: Newbie, from Devon

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Sounds like the 325 would be a better option, everyone keeps telling me the fuel economy is the same as the 320 anyway. I don't know about the 318is the ones I have seen are a little on the pricey side, oh well see what turns up in a couple of months! Eko: I live in...

Newbie, from Devon

Hi I currently own a Volvo 480 turbo (i know its a shed, brought due to a need to own a Tubocharged car plus it was cheap and chipped) its lasted a year of being ragged, but its rusty and it heading to the scrappy when the MOT's up in a couple of months. So I have been saving for a new car. I am put...
