Re: Which Car, E46 Convertible OR CLK Convertible

seriously i know a guy who worked at a merc dealer in the late 90s to mid 00's and this era clk had some serious issues with quality in an era where merc tried to maximise profit, he told me they scrimped on paint and they were getting rust bubbles coming through on area where moisture collected

Re: are 320i's more thirsty than 325i's

i had my 320i converted to 2.5 and yeah its a little more economical as i dont have to rev the engine much compared to the 320, i've retained the 4.1 diff so higher gearing isnt a cause for the mpg

seems to have a much greater umph of torque at the bottom end which suits my lazy driving style

i'd try classic car mart as you get a lot of mint low miler late 70s to 80s future classics in it, tbh if you stick a 4dr for £3500 on here most members will know you can get a really nice cabby or genuine sport for that kind of money there will be someone who wants your car somewhere as an apprecia...

for £500-£800 theres some seriosly nice e34's most e30's around that price nowadays are either rusty or lumbered with m40s, a 194bhp exec wagon for that kind of money isnt too shabby
