auto gearbox stuck in 3rd gear
its a 325 switchable box, a light came on the dash board, and now its stuck in 3rd gear / limp mode, does anyone have any ideas to get it out of limp mode??

starting from cold help pls?
325 cab, i have a slight problem when starting from cold it doesnt seem to want to fire up properly, it goes to fire but does kind of catch/run if you sort of understand me, but when you touch the throttle a bit it seems to help it, but when started with help from the throttle it will run a bit lump...

im sure i bought one from those guys! and so far so good! noticed a difference, it cleared all the nasty flat spots thro the revs, didnt change the dam consumption tho! has a slight fluctuation on idle but dont think this is the chip. and a bigger bonus mine was a lot cheaper home and delivered than...

mate you have got to be mad, or got £$£$£$ coming out of your ears to spend £40 on cleaning products, simple small bottle of t cut, to get the crap of the paint work and any light scratches, then a nice bottle of wax of your choice! those 2 wouldnt come to £15 and some old t shirts to put ...

its the pigment in it mate, nothing you can do but keep t cutin untill the shine comes back, i take its painted in cellulose? (the rag turns red when you t cut the car) i have heard that you can lacquer over the top of cellulose, but have never tried it myself, someone else may be able to give some ...

STE is that your own car the porsche 964 model? if so where did the wide archs come from? i have the same car, but wana put some turbo archs on it, but a little advice from someone who has attempted it befor would be handy

thinners works well on tyres, back to black for black trims or paint them with matt black if you can, or even the t cut with black polish in works really well.

to be honest i didnt notice any more power really, it was just the way it was delivered, it smoothed out all the flat spots in the rev range, and you really did notice it.

my roof never folds away properly always need to get the creases out of the window and the big black straps always stick out and you have to push them back in, annoying and takes time but worth it!!!

how mould you check an alpna?
how would i go about checking an alpina out, to see if it all stands up properly? any ideas? if the car was hpi`d would it show in the description as bmw alpina, or not? i have tried the vehicle checks and it just says bmw, no alpina on there, thanks

hows the car at the moment jay, did you get it sorted? i have an auto aswell, and ever since i changed the ecu and put a airfilter on it, it hunted a little bit on idle only when it was in gear, and sometimes would stall if you reved it then let them drop. also when pulling away it wouldnt respond a...

try flattening it 1st mate that way if you get the shit out of the paint you have had a result, if not its nice and flat for when you hit it again, good luck

how comes you decided to paint in cellulose, its quite an old type of paint? but on the other hand it f*ucking nice and simple to use, with celly, as long as you get lots of paint on the panel, it doesnt matter how it looks after you have just sprayed it, obviously the flatter it looks the less work...
