Yes, battery was disconnected. Problem sorted now after a bit of investigation last night, rubber pipe that connects to air flow meter had a split underneath, a bit of sealer later and its running like a dream again. Kind of need a bit of the knowledge if i can guys, my e30 convertible G plate, has a wiring issue i think as i can operate the wipers and the indicators with the ignition key removed ! Any advice as my battery keeps going flat and i think this is the cause of the .20 amp draw off the battery..... ch...

get onto the scrappy themselves mate as they should have the paper work there, as end of life cars have to be reported to the DVAL......he will have the chassis number to hand, instead of clambering over more cars to see it on the car itself !!!!!! Then get it put up on here and some one will check ...

Andrew, check the air leak off hose which runs under the inlet manifold cover from cylinder one to six, they can perish and draw in under metered air past the airflow meter. This could have the same effect as a split bellows would on another type of engine......good luck mate Darren.

There is abit of wiring as the 323 had the old c101 conector and not the round one. Just get the engine and loom/ecu/air flow meter and drop it in.
