To be totaly honest I'm not too bothered on what sorta mileage I'm going to get out the tyres as the cars never going to be on the road,prob just a few mile each summer(that's the plan)...
Going to ring around tomorrow an see what I can come up with..

Everywhere I ring are saying they can't get

205 55 15....

One place I found do Bridgestone potenza 340 all in
But thought its alota moni for tyres?!?

Anyone know were I'd get a better choice an better prices/mabe on line?!?

just to be nosey...

I used Cleveland panels a few weeks ago..well priced,speedy delivery!!

Will be quite hard to push on ur own but should creep forward,bit at a time!!!

Try a set of jump leads....
Or
Put it in 4th gear with (ignition off)and give it a push(rock)the car and see if u can move it about a meter(complete cycle)...so you know the engines not locking up!!

If that makes sense!!

Would it not turn over really quickly if it broke the belt,as there's no compression??

Get a set of jump leads on it of booster box!!
If it was the fuel pump,should it not still crank over?!but just not start?!

I agree if your car has a handful of owners down the line and no mots,gets harder to prove,but if your buying a one or two even three owner from new I personally think there's more chance of it being correct,along with mots...
Just my own opinion tho....
