thats looks/sounds about right to me, the piont of them is they only open that far if its that necessary when getting that hot.

About two months ago i took the cover of the blower motor under the bonnet and lubricated the motor shafts as it was loud and probably never done. all was well until yesterday. on my way to work it was quite warm whilst stuck in traffic so i stuck the fan blower onto 4 (cold) and a puff of smoke cam...

yeah there too big! to get the best handling stick with ur 15" bbs and some good tryes but if u did want something different i'd wait and try and get hold of some 16" hartge alloys. imo with bigger wheels the steering becomes less responsive and i hear the bk alpina reps give a poor ride.

i know there have been a few posts about water leaks in the boot, and im now suffering the same problem! i have ruled out the light seals, areial, and drainage hole so it must be the boot lid seal surely??? it looks tatty so i'll change it anyway, the problem im having is finding out where to buy on...

just looking into getting some german styleee number plates ( the type with the D and EU stars) and just wondered what other people got and where they got them. also i take it there not strictly legal, as they have big D on them!?! any ideas and help much appreciated!

erratic temp needle!!!
on my drive to work this morning i noticed my temp gauge going a bit mental!! it would sit at the correct temp for a few moments then flicker around for a bit, then got back to the correct temp for a few seconds before doing it again! Any one know whats going on, or is it just this bloody cold weath...

i agree, wheel bearing! also i know it sounds stupid but check the wheel is defiantly on tight and not come loose as this happened to me in a rally once and had the same symptoms, luckily i made it to the end of the stage tho!

Yes! it can only go one way up, im sure as the top one has the grove for the bolt to go through, and the bottom fixing doesnt have the bolt coming through onto the splines.

when i do up the upper coupling where the bolt can only go through in one place the other end slips off, as if it were too short! agggghhhh!!

hello everyone, i got a power rack system off a zoner and tried to fit it to my 1988 320i (with no p/s) and it doesn't fit properly. i have been trying all weekend and it just wont go on! i've got the rack in but having trouble with the couplings, so i took out the drivers side bolt on the rack then...

hell everyone, i have a 1988 320i, and i thinks its preety much the base model as it has no e/w or power steering (although it does have e/m for some reason as u move those all the time!) the problem is it can be a tank to park some times! can power steering be fitted to it? i know other e30s nust h...
