Brillantrot M Tech II
Hello chaps, It's been awhile since I have been on the Zone, and I apologize for not contributing more to this fine E30 forum. I completely forgot that I had neglected to thank some people on this forum for helping me out with my M Tech II install, namely corkie , CHRISP , and otto11 . Thanks so muc...

Re: Killarney Track Car
Why did you mold the bumpers to the body? If anything hits that, it will crack in an instant. So much for replacement too, would necessitate half a paint job

Re: Is there any kind of left foot rest plate i can buy??
If you're using it as a track car... why the hell do you need a foot rest? It is best to rest your foot, as it is a bad habit to leave your foot on the clutch pedal when driving. And you can brace yourself in hard cornering with a good solid foot rest. I know a guy that makes foot rests for e30s wi...

Re: Wheel offset?
Remember mates, offset is relative to wheel width so be careful when blanket stating that E30s like one certain ET... they can range a lot. Rix313, what sort of wheel studs do you have? That is odd that spacers will not fit... There are some good ones they sell over here in America, very popular = h...

Re: M20 Rocker Covers
Make sure you get the correct one that your manifold bracket will still bolt on to. Older 323/325e's covers with the 731 head/intake are different than the later 325i covers with the 885 head/intake. It's not the end of the world if you don't do it, just better if the manifold is supported.

Re: E30 in the snow
Wow, you guys got a good helping of snow too! I did not think it was that bad over on that side of the pond too. Maybe I should watch the weather channel more often haha :o E30s are pretty good in the snow, rather rubbish though without LSD. I wish our e30s had an ABS switch like the older Audi Quat...

Re: HELP! Just picked up my e28 lsd, e30 back plate wont mat
Do you guys have 325e's over there? Those have 2.93 ratio diffs... here in America they come with 2.79 for early models, and 2.93 for later models. That would be a bolt on solution. And, as mentioned, e28 5er diffs will fit as long as it is Type188... they came with low ratios too (2.93, 3.15, 3.25 ...

Re: m tech 2 kit fitment
Yes, I read the guide last night, very informative. But I am hoping to find a picture side by side comparing both the Coupe sill covers and the Cabby sill covers... I am planning to put Cabby sill covers on my Coupe in the Springtime, I will be documenting that. I can't foresee it being all that dif...
