Job lot of parts, mainly coupe glass, BBS, arbs, regulator

I have the following for sale, need the space ASAP so would rather sell as a job lot to someone who is saving parts or a reseller etc so I don’t have to dispose of anything. Buyer must take the lot. £10 Box Of Various Parts

I have some assorted bits lying around, won’t throw away any old parts but having a clear out.

Pair of rear light covers/bulb holders, pair of nearly new top mounts, dash fascia/heater plate and switch, plus other random bits and bobs, trim etc.

£10 collected from Sheffield, or £20 posted.

2 x props, FREE to collect

I acquired these two props at some point with an engine, but neither are correct length for a 318is (318is prop wanted!). They both measure approx 1525mm at mid spline fitment so assume based on wiki info they are probably 320i. However, one has a larger diameter front half, so possibly an E36 hybri...

318is Propshaft & Headlight outer rings

As per title really - looking for an 318is-specific prop please, which I believe is 1570mm length.

Also some of the outer rings that clip around the headlight units, a full set if possible but anything considered.

Any condition considered for the above. Thanks.

Re: Outon Park Drift Day - Sat 27th November

As I've not finished putting the car back together over the weekend (and the day has sold out) I'm not going to be able to make this unfortunately. :(
Will definitely be booking one for December or Feb though based on the above reports!

Have fun.

That is such a positive review anyone would think you worked for them! It is what I hoped you'd say though.. :D
Providing I can get the car sorted in the next week or so I'll get it booked - so hopefully see you there!

Re: Outon Park Drift Day - Sat 27th November

Currently trying to decide between this and a track day in the same week for last fun of the year...

Have you been on one of these before? It would appeal more to me as a cheaper half-day event, not sure if a whole day is maybe a bit much for such a thing? I'm hoping to be corrected though!

Re: 195 vs 205 tyres? any opinions?

I had the same dilemma and ended up going for 195 T1Rs, just changed to a new set actually. Benefits include cheaper cost, lower ride height, lower rotational and unsprung mass, slightly lower gearing... The only downside (apart from the width) is a slightly optimistic speedo reading. The grip level...

Re: Proxes T1R or Yoko Parada II for budget track tyres?

They feel very similar to the proxes in my opinion. Unfortunately i've not had both in the same size tyre. the proxes were on 16" wheels, the zetas are on my current 15" BBS. Nice one, thanks. In the end I went for the Toyos again as they were quicker to get than the MaraZLs and I was in a hurry du...

Re: Proxes T1R or Yoko Parada II for budget track tyres?

Are you overheating the proxes? If so, how about the Marangoni Zera Linea? I've had them and Toyos on mine and though they're not quite so good in 'damp' conditions, they are very good in the dry and heavy rain. They also seem to hold up a lot better than proxes when you're getting them hot, a lot ...

Proxes T1R or Yoko Parada II for budget track tyres?

Hiya, I have had Toyo Proxes T1Rs for the last year on my relatively budget track car, having done four track days and a couple of thousand fun road miles. The Toyos are completely dead, which is fair after the abuse I have given them, especially since we managed to fluke all four track days being b...

Re: S2000 Engined E30 on the 'bay

I always wanted to do the F20 conversion into my track E30, it does seem pretty perfect. It's only the massive cost (in comparison to say an M52) and the fact it would rule out the possibility of racing in most series' (should I ever find the money to do that...) that put me off. I'd love a go in th...

Re: when you wheel spin why does it thud?

It's just the tyres gripping / slipping at a frequency the dampers can't cope with which leads to wheel bounce which exagerates he probem. A car with brand new bushes, springs, dampers and tyres can on occasion do it so it doesn't always mean somethings knackered, although sloppy bushes are almost ...
