just sold my 325i e30, yet i still keep coming on this site and view photos of many e30s !!! just cant mess with these cars at all, design , the looks, the power, the old skool, they have it all .

will get a cabby e30 real soon !!!!

just enquiring if a 325i master cylinder would fit in a 318i or are they different ???

you could try some JB WELD as you only need a lil spot of weld.

the sills have got a coat of satin black but its also bumpy...ive also realised that the waxoil gets quite hot/burns.....wouldnt that melt/peel the paint on the sill ?

ive just bought an mtech2 kit for my 4 door 325i se. facelift.

ive just got new sills welded with that rough coat of paint on it. but before i do put the mtech2 kit on...what shall i use to coat the body just so it wont rust from behind the mtech2 body kit ???

theres a 4 door 318i on my block and thats an N reg , very mint condition no rust at all, everything is standard, lady owner at the present. black colour,

that gives me horrid memories after going through 2 lock sets, JB weld, and missing tumbler springs. LOL

oh yes definetly a riddly job fitting the C-clip. just undo few bolts to get ther window mechanisms loose to get to the lock from inside. ask the seller of the lock sets on ebay if they are fully working especailly the driver side due to 20 years of wear and tear the arm inside could be broken and w...

the previous owner has sprayed some satin black on the chrome trims on my facelift 325i...some of its flaking off and i want to remove the satin black without damaging the chrome trims just to see if it will look good with chrome trim or not......??

yes i got 2 black relays against the engine bulkhead and about 5 orange relays, as they were orange i thought placing them anywhere should be fine in the fuse box but obviously not.

what other relays should i look for that my "trust worthy" mechanic p!ssed around with ??

after resolving the faulty 50 amp fuse in the back boot from the battery. now my relays in the fuse box are all out of its place as my local mechanic was messing around with them when i had that 50 amp fuse problem.. now everytime i put the correct relay in for the foglights and then i put the corre...

check 50 amp fuse hidden in sheating of small +battery cable feeds fuel pump/dme relay for ecu/spark for coil/injectors dead fuse/no spark,famous fault cheap fix slit the sheating 18 inches in from battery good luck!. :cool: yep defo aggree with that...you will see white rubber on a piece of chip b...

update...after all that and yes that white rubber looking thing underneath it was a 50amp metal strip fuse that had a cut in it. i bypassed it with a piece of metal and it started perfectly and so i bought it home ready to solder a new piece of 50 amp blade fuse to the existing wiring loom.

ive found a weird looking fuse type thing, it has white rubber on a small chip board looking thing. It is in between the thin wire that is conected to the batery postive with the thick wire. Is that the 50amp fuse?

will check the 50 amp fuse located in the back boot but to be honest i dont think ive ever seen a fuse on the positive wire from the battery but i will check to confirm. it wants to start but theres somethink not allowing it too....no spark at all...no fuel...however the fuel pump is working...one o...

yes there is an imobilser but thats on a different circuit to the headunit. i made my own circuit for the headunit which the yellow and red were also connected to the positive phantom and the negative to the body where rest of the wires connected too. the immboliser which is very old works fine just...

now i just went to the car and the central locking dont work fully due to a flat battery which is weird so when i left the car it still mustve drained some current from somewhere...?? this is weirdddd....briannmoreeee i need your support mate , anyone....????

ive done some research and found that a 50 amp fuse may be popped which is on a red wire from the positive of the battery under a heat shrink. what is a heat shrink and where can this 50 amp fuse be located ????

hi guys i got a 325i f reg, i jump startd a toyota from the phantom positive and neg in the engine bay and my headunit was on now the headunit does not work and the car turns over but does not start, there is no sparks. All the fuses are fine even the headunit fuse is fine but the headunit does not ...

this happened to me once however i unplugged the injector wiring loom which is located passenger side underneath the manifold spray some electrical spray cleaner plug it back in hopefully that should sort it out.
