Mine (when finished) will have all of that minus the heated seats/aircon/multichanger. But it will have E36 leather seats, E36 steering rack, Mtec2 wheel, some nice 15" alloys, etc etc. 170k miles aswell. I'm hoping to get £1200 for it

Re: 325i Touring weight
Hmm ok lets say 1300kg then, plus the stuff that's always going to be in the car when I'm towing - which is me, a heavy jack, two wheels and tyres and a load of tools, so call it 1400kg. So if I get a trailer that weighs 400kg and my drift car which is ~1000kg I'm right on the limit! Its looking lik...

325i Touring weight
How much does an E30 325i Touring weigh?
I'd like to tow my drift car on a trailer with it, but I need to know the weight to see if I need to abandon the idea altogether and get something heavier

The little panel of warning lights on the roof...
I have washer fluid and coolant warning lights illuminated. I have since filled up both washer tanks, filled the coolant tank and replaced the coolant sensor, and neither of the lights will go out :? Do you have to drive the car at all before the lights will go out, or do I still have problems causi...

How long to remove an engine?
Two reasonably competant people, proper tools and a ramp.
Hour and a half?
Myself and my brother just took an engine out of a 200SX in those circumstances in that time, was wondering if a 325 engine out of an E30 would be approx. the same?
And how about just one person doing it on your drive?

Having seen the inside of my last car's engine (a Skyline) I know where you're at, and how satisfying a feeling it is to have built an engine yourself 8) Begs the question though - why didnt you just get a new engine? Wasnt an option for me (a complete running RB26 is about two grand, and quite rare...

pikey are you tight or do you not have the money? Neither. I will be paying £700 for a 535 engine, M3 gearbox + prop, and all the associated gubbins, and an E36 steering rack and associated gubbins. With 225bhp I dont think I'll worry about my backside being caressed by supple cow hide  Stu...

There's a complete Touring leather interior, recently retrimmed, for £500 - which I can sort of understand as that's like brand new. Or cliffybabe's front leather E36 seats, again recently retrimmed so like new for £250. But ~£300 for a standard comfort leather interior with 100k worth of wear...

Why are leather interiors so expensive?
There's over 10 for sale on here at the moment, so they're not rare or in great demand! E30s are all over 15 years old, so they're not particularly new, comfortable, or highly specced (heated, electric etc etc). I paid just over £300 in total for my car, so I'm loathe to pay that again just for fo...

170,000 mile old 325i engine + BTB manifold + exhaust system (Sebring?) + E30Zone wild chip = 200bhp? Or am I going to need a cam / other tuning to get that figure? Re: Adjusting steering wheel / column height
Standard drivers seat was totally knackered, that's in the bin! I'm using my brother's M3 seat, which is probably the same. But even if I were to sit higher, I find I'm too close to the pedals, so moving the column down would mean I can sit further back aswell
