Does the 325 or 318is have a lsd as standard?

is a 318is timing chain or belt?

yeah a mini is my other car and even tho its a 1380 stage 4 trackday engine its still doing about the same if not better than the bmw mpg. the 320 isnt terible but im just after something better

cheers for the info guys, im gona have a little look at a 318is closer at the next bmw show, maybe take one for a test drive when i see one in one of my local car dealers but i think its the way im going to go, love the e30 to much to change for another car.

i feel i must apologise in advance about the state of my car, since i got it it still has crude mounted 6 by nines and still looks abit faded. just havent had the time to give it a dam good t cut and money to get some rear speakers that fit due to fixing mechanical stuff.

bit stange, i was 19 when i got my 320 and elephant were the cheapest, for somereason it was a lot less to insure than a 318 or a 316.

i paid Ã‚£450. my mums corsa 1.2 was nearly a grand.

this might sound a bit stupid but how do you change the bulb behind the speedo, the previous owner stuck a blue led thing above it which looks nasty. also the shroud is broken where he put the light so is this easy enough to change at the same time

yeah im after a discreet one to repace the one at the moment, nothing to huge tho as im trying to keep the car standardish looking. might wait to some shows and see what other people have, mines a bit trashed and realy lets the car down.

can anyone recomend some speakers for the back of my sallon. not after anything expensive just a set of half good speakers, when i brought my car it had some crudely fitted 6 by nine speakers in the parcel shelf (sitting on a bit of dodgey mdf) these actualy do sound quite good but looks terible so ...
